Ruby is one of our horses. You can't miss Ruby when she is in the field with the ponies - she towers over them! Ruby is a retired racehorse. Her breed is Standardbred, a type of race horse that pulls a sulky. Horses of Ruby's breeding are called Pacers and Trotters. Ruby is more of a pacer, which is actually a specialized gait. Horses move very fast at the pace, averaging over 30mph!
